About GCPL U
Each course has been created by a GCPL librarian with the goal of teaching practical job knowledge and developing marketable skills. At the end of each course you will have the opportunity to demonstrate what you have learned and receive a certificate of completion. The program is entirely free with your Gwinnett County Public Library card. If you need help accessing the courses or modules you can contact us. This course is intended to help you gain the skills you need for basic computer usage, to successfully navigate any computer or laptop, and develop computer literacy skills for novice users.
Job Searching Skills
This course is intended to help you gain the skills you need to search for jobs, successfully apply for jobs, and put your best self forward in the interview process.
Microsoft Office
This course is designed for adult learners to gain knowledge and mastery of basic functions in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. The skills in this course can be used for personal use and in the workplace.
Python Programming
This course is intended to help you gain the skills you need to build a solid foundation in the Python programming language.
