Library card design contest winners announcement

Childrens Winner

Animals reading and playing in a forest scene.

Evie Pressley

Evie’s design was inspired by her love of animals and Gwinnett County Library’s slogan, “Connect. Learn. Grow.”

Evie loves reading, especially graphic novels. When she is not trying to write a story, she is probably reading part of a trilogy or drawing people in the cartooniest way possible.

Adults Winner

Gwinnett Library card with person reading on grass.

Ashley Gilliam

Ashley’s design was inspired by the peace found in reading and nature. She hopes that her design will inspire others to go out and enjoy the natural world around them with a good book.

Ashley has had a lifelong passion for art and illustration. While she loves the ease of digital art, she still creates traditional art, such as painting, drawing, and embroidery.
