Attention Please!
The Gwinnett County Public Library will be hosting the third annual Teen Summit on Saturday, February 23, 2013. However, due to the recent Zombie Infestation, Teen Summit 2013 will focus on getting teens the latest information on how to survive safely in today's world.
Join us for interactive presentations on:
Self Defense
Learn simple and effective self defense techniques to protect yourself from the living or the undead.
Teens and the Law
What do today's teens need to know about staying safe and protected? What should you do if you are pulled over while driving? Join a dialogue with local law enforcement officers as they take your questions about teens and the law.
First Aid
It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt. Keep the fun and games going while we discuss how to treat basic injuries.
Online Resources
You won't get bit if you get your education online. Stay safe and be smart as you learn how you can get high school credit through the Gwinnett Online Campus. Check out some new resources available at your public library, too.
Just for Fun: We All Gotta Eat
Cooking with brains? No? How about something sweeter? Join us in making marshmallow zombie pops for a gruesome, but tasty, treat.
