More Great STEAM Learning Coming Your Way!

Contributed By: Tonya Aumack, Learning Lab Supervisor

Gwinnett County Public Library is busy working to provide STEAM programming and learning opportunities for all ages, including children and teens! STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, and we’re all about it.

In addition to our other great STEAM programs, our Learning Labs provide free access to the equipment and software needed for your own STEAM exploration. Learn how to record and edit video and music projects, create graphic designs, and much more! Free instruction on how to use our software and equipment can be obtained by requesting a Book A Librarian appointment. To use the Learning Lab alone, children should be 13 years old. Younger kids are welcome to use the space with a parent or guardian.

Learning Labs are currently located at our Five Forks, Hamilton Mill and Lilburn branches. Extra STEAM programs for kids and teens will be happening all year long at our Learning Labs, so come join in the fun. You might learn a new skill or hobby!
