Throughout February, the Peachtree Corners Branch will host E(STEAM)ED Art Series for Kids: African American Masters of Art. The program will introduce audiences to the works of notable artists and art techniques through picture books and make-it-take-it activities recommended for children 5 years and older.
The line up includes:
February 5 from 1 to 2 p.m.

February 12 from 5 to 6 p.m.
Ceramic Artists & Sculptors
Spotlight: “Dave the Potter” Drake, Edmonia Lewis & Augusta Savage
February 19 from 1 to 2 p.m.
Cut Paper & Collage Artists
Spotlight: Romare Bearden & Ashley Bryan
February 26 from 5 to 6 p.m.
Photographers
Spotlight: James Vanderzee & Gordon Parks
The events are free and open to all with or without a Gwinnett County Library card. However, as space and supplies are limited, interested participants are encouraged to register by visiting the Peachtree Corners Branch or signing up on the GCPL events page.
