Storytelling with David Hirt – November 1
Professional storyteller, David Hirt, will share some of his favorite scary tales to give you a chuckle or a chill.
Splish-Splash-Read – November 3
Gwinnett County Public Library and Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation have joined up for a splashing good time! Join library staff on these Friday nights from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the Bethesda Park Aquatic Center for reading, interactive crafts/activities, light refreshments and lots of swimming.
Sharyn McCrumb, North Georgia Reads – November 5
North Georgia Reads was created to promote collaboration between neighboring library systems and to bring bestselling authors to a community of 46 libraries in the region. Award-winning writer, Sharyn McCrumb, is best known for her Appalachian “ballad” novels, including the New York Times bestsellers The Ballad of Tom Dooley, The Ballad of Frankie Silver, and Ghost Riders.

Are you preparing to become a U.S. citizen? This class offers instruction to help you pass the naturalization test, a required step toward citizenship. Each portion of the test will be addressed and the test topics taught. Come meet others working toward citizenship and learn how to successfully pass the test.

Bring your lipsmackers and snap bracelets back to life with this blast from the past 90’s party. It’s gonna be totally rad!
Radney Foster – November 18
Radney Foster is a profound songwriter who has produced music for almost 40 years, including 13 songs that have hit the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. His newest work, For You to See the Stars, is in both CD and book format. The book is a collection of short stories and each is coupled with a song from the 10-track album.
Community Canvas – November 22
Come assist us in creating a community painting to display within the library. Canvas and painting supplies provided. Please dress to get messy!
