Do you know that access to books is one of the biggest predictors of student success? A multi-year, international study has determined that children who reach a high level of educational success have something in common – they had lots of books in their home.

While other factors such as family income or parent’s educational level are also significant, the easy access to books at home was even more closely correlated to educational success.

What’s a great way to have lots and lots of books available to your family? Your library card! Each cardholder can check out up to 75 items at a time.

You can read an abstract of the study here.
