“It’s better than a sharp stick in the eye!” Storytelling for and by Seniors! Southern Order of Storytellers and Stories on the Square Gwinnett member, Denise Mount, will be telling personal stories at the Collins Hill Library, Wednesday, March 8th at 10:30am.
Adults are invited to this free event.
The event will also include a voluntary workshop for Seniors who may interested in putting their own stories together; and there will be an “open mike” opportunity for anyone who would like to tell a story. With input from the audience, we will create a monthly program based on your interests – listening, telling, crafting.
Did you parents have special words to live by that you have repeated over the years? My Dad used to say, if there was ever a complaint about something, “It’s better than a sharp stick in the eye!” Words of wisdom don’t get much truer than that!
What’s your story?
