Soniah Kamal received starred reviews in Library Journal and Publishers Weekly for her new book Unmarriageable: Pride and Prejudice in Pakistan published by Penguin Random House.  Her first book An Isolated Incident won the KLF French Fiction Prize and Amazon’s Rising Star Award. Her essays and short stories have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and The Best Asian Stories Series in 2017. 

Soniah teaches creative writing at the EVW Institute and welcomes your questions about the writing and publishing process. She is a member of the National Books Critics Circle, PEN America and serves as a Jane Austen Literacy Ambassador for the JA Society of North America. Join us for a book talk Jane Austen fans will love and a writer’s workshop with this award-winning essayist and fiction writer.
