GCPL’s Learning Labs, located at the Five Forks, Hamilton Mill, and Lilburn Branches, are spaces to create, collaborate, and share digital content. If you are a videographer, graphic designer, or even a future recording star, the Learning Lab has the software and equipment to turn your vision into reality. Check out upcoming events facilitated in our Learning Labs at select branches!
Feb. 10, 2-3pm, Lilburn Branch
This class is a beginner-level exposure to Adobe Lightroom software. We will go over presets, workflows, tips and timesavers. If you have a laptop with Lightroom installed (any version is fine), we recommend that you bring it. Library computers will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Feb. 12, 10am-noon, Hamilton Mill Branch
For this workshop, you should bring a pair of pants that need hemming. Our Learning Lab technicians will show you how to measure and sew a perfectly tailored blind hem using the Lab’s sewing machines.
