Storytimes are a great way to introduce the library and literature to young children!

Kids and Family Calendar

Children benefit in so many ways from gathering together at the library. Our Programming Specialists craft each storytime program to encourage and enhance emerging literacy skills. These interactive programs incorporate wonderful stories and illustrations, rhymes and rhythms, music and movement.  

Storytimes are free and open to the public. No registration is necessary, and you are welcome to attend storytime at any of our fifteen branches.

Storytimes are intended for individual children up to age 5 and their caregivers.
