Barefoot in the Park is a fine arts festival that kicks off with a GALA this Friday evening. GCPL will debut the 2012 Pulp Fashion paper dresses in a fashion show that will begin at 8:00 pm. The full festival starts Saturday and runs through Sunday afternoon and will feature a second fashion show of modeled paper fashions at 1:00 pm on the Pavilion stage. New this year to Barefoot in the Park are over thirty Altered Books submitted as part of the annual Altered Book Competition. The Friends of the Library will also have a booth set up at the event.
