Every Hero Has a Story & Escape the Ordinary!

Get your summer off to a great start by attending a Summer Reading Kickoff event!  With two different kickoff performers this summer, you have two great choices for a fun family program:

  • Visit Centerville, Collins Hill, Dacula, Five Forks, Grayson, Lilburn, Peachtree Corners or Suwanee branches to see an incredible display of balance and skill in Todd Key’s Cirque du Todd show!  Juggling, circus skills, a little magic and just the right mix of fun and reading encouragement creates a program that is heroic.
  • All Hands Productions presents The Reluctant Dragon! Visit Buford, Duluth, Elizabeth H. Williams, Hamilton Mill, Lawrenceville, Mountain Park, or Norcross branches for a special production of this spectacular puppet show featuring a princess who loves to read, a knight, and a dragon!  Who will be the hero in this tale?

Each program is fun for all ages.

Join us in June and July for storytimes, programs for elementary school age students, puppet shows and more. There are also fun programs just for teensEnjoy animal encounters and special guest performances throughout summer. Have a blast at your library with activities, games, and crafts! All programs are free and open to individual children and their accompanying adult (large groups such as camps or classes cannot be accommodated).
