Checkout Periods and Renewals

You will need your library card number and PIN to checkout and renew materials.

Unless otherwise noted, all items check out for a three-week period. You may have up to 75 items checked out at any one time. Effective February 1, 2010, library customers with a balance of $15 or more will not have checkout privileges or the ability to renew materials.

Materials may be checked out from and returned to any Gwinnett County Public Library location.

Items may be renewed as long as another customer has not requested the item and your balance does not exceed $15. You may renew by logging into your account, visiting a branch library, or by calling the library during open hours at 770-978-5154.
