Grove Art Online provides web access to the entire text of The Dictionary of Art, and The Oxford Companion to Western Art.  Grove Art Online is the most comprehensive and authoritative online resource for  research in the history of the visual arts.  In October, 2005 the British Museum and Oxford University Press  announced a landmark agreement with Grove. By the Spring of 2006, Grove Art Online will highlight nearly 400 images of objects from the British Museum collection.
