Web Resources: America's Career Infonet - This site, developed by the department of labor, provides salary information, job descriptions and statistics.
America's Job Bank - Most of the jobs listed on America's Job Bank are full-time listings and the majority are in the private sector. Approximately five percent of the job listings are in government. Users can search by job type and geographic location. This site is a service of the United States Department of Labor and state public employment service agencies.
Career Builder - Site features jobs from over 70 other career sites. Also, included are job hunting tools, skills certification information and articles. Careers.org - Career Resource Center offers job listings (including federal jobs) as well as links to employers. The user can search by state.
Federal Jobs Digest - This site provides a searchable job database for federal employment as well as useful informaiton about federal hiring practices.
Fulton County Employment - Features job vacancies with the Fulton County Government.
Georgia Department of Labor - Search for job openings in Georgia.
Georgia State Merit System - This site lists job opportunities with the State of Georgia. The user can browse postings by discipline.
Goodwill - Work Connection Centers - At the Gwinnett Connection Center, link to the resources you can use to find employment or start a small business. This includes access to a job bank, Internet, computers for resume development and career exploration, fax machines, photocopier, telephones, resource library, and community information. Trained staff and community volunteers are ready to assist you.

Net-Temps - One of the web's first job services, this site provides opportunities for posting resumes.
Occupational Outlook Handbook (searchable) - Learn about hundreds of occupations: the nature of the job, working conditions, training and qualifications needed, the job outlook through the year 2005, typical earnings, related occupations, and associations which can provide additional information. Users can get this information by choosing from a categorized listing or by performing a keyword search.
