Georgia ResearchThe Gwinnett County Public Library collects materials that instruct and guide customers in locating and using Georgia research materials, refers customers to appropriate institutions, and utilizes interlibrary loan service. Materials about Georgia and Gwinnett, as well as those materials written or produced by local authors, are added to the circulating and reference collections when they meet the general selection standards. In addition to traditional resources, the library has access to genealogy information on the Internet. Ask at the Help Desk for assistance in locating these resources on our homepage. Through interlibrary loan we can often borrow materials owned by other library systems. Please be aware, however, that many institutions decline to lend genealogical materials, or other materials which are heavily used or are too fragile to mail. Assistance with interlibrary loan requests is available at the Help Desk at each branch. For hours of operation and the location of the branch nearest you, please call 770-978-5154.
