Down’s Syndrome

Down’s syndrome has downs,

Slow,

Slower,

Slowest,

Speech is hard to understand,

Shirt buttoned wrong,

Shoes opposite feet,

Often needs help.

Down’s syndrome has ups,

Happy,

Funny,

Gentle,

Would share his last cookie,

Would give you the shirt off his back,

Has child-like faith,

Made by God so we can slow down.
