Kids & Family Program

Meet some slithery, scaly new friends at the library!  Join us for a hands-on live reptile demonstration for children (and adults!) of all ages.  

Licensed wildlife rehabilitator Connie Haynes seeks to introduce children to nature's wonders through programs designed to familiarize the child with animals, their habitats, and the natural world.  She is a former zookeeper and a certified instructor with several environmental education organizations such as Project Wild and Project Urban Watershed.
