Get Your Library Card Online
When you register for a library card online you immediately receive a temporary card number.
With the temporary card number you can:
- access online databases
- place up to three holds on library materials through the catalog
Within seven days, please go any Gwinnett County Public Library branch to complete your registration and receive your permanent library card.
If you do not complete your registration within seven days your temporary library account will become inactive. You will no longer have access to databases and any holds placed will be cancelled.
The temporary card number which you will receive will look like this:
241580 123456-7
When using the number to access databases or place holds in the catalog, please remove the space but keep the hyphen so that the number looks like this:
241580123456-7
