JAZZ
What is Jazz?  According to Webster, it is "American music developed especially from ragtime and blues and characterized by propulsive syncopated rhythms, polyphonic ensemble playing, varying degrees of improvisation, and often deliberate distortions of pitch and timbre"  Obviously there is a lot to learn and enjoy in jazz music.
Gwinnett County Public Library provides great resources for established fans and those just beginning to explore this unique American art form.
